🦭 Renault Megane 2 Windows Not Working

Nothing happened. I thought instantly it was obviously the motor or a fuse. I checked all the fuses and they're all fine. Whilst searching the forums on this sort of problem the window just randomly went up half way on its own.
Clean the connector on the regulator and the other side on the harness. The wide pin often receives thermal damage due to high current. I use silver conductive paint for restoring the coating on the contacts. For instructions about disassembly refer to the manual in the sticky thread above this one. AlexB.
Renault Megane II (2002 - 2008) - Electric Windows. Long time no post but I've just got to have another moan about the electric windows on my 04 Megane. The driver's window stopped working and the dealer said this was a known Renault problem and even mentioned Watchdog.The fitter removed the driver's door speaker and checked the wiring

May 29, 2017 #1. Mark B. Hi, my window has stopped working completely - luckily it was closed! Had a look today and when I press the window switch the relay clicks every time. The relay has been replaced before as the one I have is about 1" square with two wires going to the motor.

My son has just got a Megane Convertible, 55 Reg, and has a problem with his rear windows. Neither of the rear windows operate from their individual switches, and the passenger side, which stopped working a few days ago in a semi-open position, cannot be closed. I checked the 40 amp fuse in the glove box, which had blown.

The most common cause for auto windows not working in Renault Megane is when the 12 volt battery has been replaced or disconnected. The power windows still function, but you have to manually hold the switch to fully close or open the windows. In this case, performing a reset procedure should restore the auto functionality.
